2010 Kingston Town Classic Field Down to 13 after Admiring Scratched

December 3rd, 2010

The 2010 Kingston Town Classic field has been cut to 13 after a third horse was scratched from the race this afternoon, connections of classy mare Admiring withdrawing her from tomorrow’s showdown due to a minor leg injury.

The $500,000 Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) is the headline race at Ascot Racecourse tomorrow and after Luen Yat Forever and Almohad were scratched from the field earlier in the week and now Admiring out, odds on the remaining 13 hopefuls in the betting markets are set to shorten.

Michael Grant’s five-year-old Street Cry mare Admiring will target the $80,000 Listed Starstruck Classic (1600m) against her own sex next Saturday, December 11, instead.
