The Group 1 Kingston Town Classic is due to run at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday December 8, 2012.

Run under weight-for-age conditions, the 2012 Kingston Town Classic is worth $500,000 in prize money.

The 2012 George Moore Stakes is run over a distance of 1,800 metres and is open to horses aged three-years-old and upwards.

Playing God proved too good for last year’s Kingston Town Classic field, winning the race for the second year in a row.

The five-year-old is sure to be back for the 2012 Kingston Town Classic in order to defend his title and attempt to win the race for an historic third time.
