Playing God Chasing Third Kingston Town Stakes In 2012

December 3rd, 2012

Trainer Neville Parnham insists that Playing God is capable of claiming his third Kingston Town Classic at Ascot Racecourse this Saturday December 8, 2012.

Playing God has won the $500,000 Kingston Town Classic the last two years and will be out to claim a hat trick in the 2012 event.

The Blackfriars entire has won seven of his 29 race starts and has earned more than $1.46 million in prize money during his horse racing career.

Playing God ran fourth in the Group 1 Railway Stakes last start, where his brother and stablemate God Has Spoken placed fifth.

“For a fleeting moment in the Railway they looked like they were going to quinella the race, but may have been left in front too soon,” Parnham said.

“Their work has been outstanding since,” he said.

“They have been worked at the beach each day and are doing super.”

“I wish I had (Playing God) back from Melbourne a week earlier for the Railway.”.

Parnham expects both horses to run well in the 2012 Kingston Town Classic this weekend.

“He is really thriving and his work on Saturday morning was outstanding.

”God Has Spoken has won (under weight-for-age conditions) and I could not be happier with him.

“He is just blossoming and I really expect them to run big races.”

God Has Spoken has won eight of his 44 race starts and has earned close to $1 million in prize money.
