Charging home to secure a maiden victory at the highest level of Australian racing in last weekend’s featured Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m), the Grant Williams-trained Elite Belle has shot to the fore of Kingston Town Classic betting markets and is currently available at generous odds of $6 for success with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Securing nine race wins and a further eight minor places from her 23 competitive appearances on course so far, Elite Belle was a standout for Williams over the 2013 Spring Carnival; winning the Listed Carbine Club Of W.A. Stakes (1400m) and finishing a credible sixth in the Kingston Town Classic most notably.

Returning to racing in similarly impressive form this year, the Canny Lad mare placed second in the Group 3 Roma Cup (1200m) first-up on May 17th before secure back-to-back victories in the Group 3 Belmont Sprint (1400m) and Group 3 Hyperion Stakes (1600m).

Winning the Group 3 Prince Of Wales Stakes (1200m) and running fourth in the Group 2 Lee Steere Stakes (1400m) leading into the Railway, Williams is confident of a second consecutive race win in the 2014 Kingston Town Classic.

Maintaining status on the top line of Kingston Town Stakes betting markets after running a close third in the Railway, Moriarty has continued to secure impressive results for leading trainer Chris Waller this year and is more than worth consideration for a bet in the year’s final Group 1 race.

Claiming twelve race wins and a further 13 minor places from his 51 competitive starts so far, the Clodovil gelding placed fifth in each of the Group 3 Neville Sellwood Stakes (2000m), Group 2 Hollindale Stakes (1800m) and Group 1 Doomben Cup (2000m) before returning to the winner’s circle in the Group 2 Eagle Farm Cup (2200m) on May 31st; returning to the paddock briefly after placing second in the Group 2 Brisbane Cup (2400m).

Steadily building to the task this time in, Moriarty placed fifth in the Group 3 Show County Quality (1200m) first-up and has continued to impress on his way to victory in the Group 3 Craven Plate (2000m) and competitive eighth amongst particularly classy company in the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) on November 1st.

Currently registering as the only runner on the second line of Kingston Town Classic betting  at a quote of $7 for success, Balmont Girl has returned to racing in slick form this season and appears primed for Group 1 success.

Finishing outside the places only a handful of times during her 19 start career so far, the Balmont mare placed third in the Group 3 Northerly Stakes (1400m) first-up and won the Group 3 Asian Beau Stakes (1400m) on November 1st before running second in the Railway Stakes over the weekend.
