Delicacy has been a standout performer for prominent Perth trainer Grant Williams this year and is sure to relish a step-up in distance for the 2015 Kingston Town Classic.

Returning to racing this year for third in the Listed Challenge Stakes (1500m), the Al Maher mare posted consecutive wins in each of the Listed Ascot 1000 Guineas (1800m), Listed Natasha Stakes (2200m), Group 3 WA Oaks (2400m) and Group 2 WATC Derby (2400m).

Floated to South Australia for a maiden Group 1 success over talented company in the Australasian Oaks (2000m) on May 2nd, Delicacy repeated the dose in the Group 1 SA Derby (2500m) only one week later before returning to the paddock.

Having returned this time for third in the Group 2 Lee Steere Stakes (1400m), Delicacy clearly needed more distance when sixth in the Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) a fortnight ago.

Black Heart Bart charged home for fourth in the Railway Stakes and is primed for a big performance in the 2015 Kingston Town Classic.

Posting an impressive ten wins and seven minors through only 24 career starts so far, Black Heart Bart returned this year for consecutive wins in the Listed Summer Scorcher (1000m), Listed Cyril Flower Stakes (1200m), Listed Pinjarra Classic (1300m) and Listed Bunbury Stakes (1400m).

Unlucky to be hampered at the jump, the Blackfriars gelding sprinted well for fourth amongst talented company in the Group 1 The Goodwood (1200m) but failed to handle the conditions of the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1350m) and didn’t beat a runner home.

Returning to winning form upon resuming in the Listed Birthday Stakes (1200m) on October 3rd, Black Heart Bart continued to impress in taking out each of the Group 3 Northerly Stakes (1420m) and Lee Steere Stakes on his way to the Railway Stakes.

Magic Artist was unlucky to miss an invitation to contest the Group 1 Hong Kong Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin in December but is sure to be tough to beat in the Kingston Town Classic.

A strong and consistent performer in posting three wins and six minors through only seventeen career starts so far, Magic Artist returned to racing this year for success in the Group 3 Premio Ambrosiano (2012m) in Italy and second in the Group 1 Premio Presidente della Repubblica (2012m).

Ending his time overseas fifth in each of the Group 1 Manhattan Stakes (2012m) in the USA and Group 1 Grosser Dallmayr Preis (2012m), the Iffraaj entire has finished fourth in both the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) and Group 1 Emirates Stakes (1600m) since arriving in Australia.

The 2015 Kingston Town Classic barrier draw is due to be completed and released by Wednesday morning.
