Reigning champion Perfect Reflection has returned to racing in typically strong form this season and remains an outright $4.20 favourite in 2016 Kingston Town Classic betting markets with Ladbrokes.com.au, ahead of Scales Of Justice ($5) and Kawi ($5.50).

Will Perfect Reflection justify favouritism and win the 2016 Kingston Town Classic, or will one of her rivals post an upset?

1st

Scales Of Justice ($5)

Scales Of Justice posted a dominant three length win in the Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) a fortnight ago, and should just win the Kingston Town Classic as a final point of call on Saturday. Resuming this time for consecutive second-place finishes in the Monster Storage BM72+ (1200m) and Muscular Dystrophy BM72+ (1400m), the Not A Single Doubt gelding returned to winning form in the Group 3 RJ Peters Stakes (1500m), in what was his only other start prior to the Railway Stakes. Douglas Whyte retains the ride on Scales Of Justice, who will be tough to beat from anywhere in the Kingston Town Classic.

2nd

Stratum Star ($12)

Group 1 winner Stratum Star has been somewhat inconsistent in 2016, but his class is sure to count for a lot on Saturday and he will eat up the 1800m of the Kingston Town Classic. Posting a career total of five wins and fifteen minors through thirty-two career starts, the Stratum entire ran fifth in the Group 3 Moonga Stakes (1400m) on October 15th and while failing to handle the late pace when thirteenth in the Group 1 Cantala Stakes (1600m), responded well for second in the Group 3 Sandown Stakes (1500m) last time out on November 12th. Confirmed to be partnered by Damien Lane, Stratum Star will leave from the rails draw and is undoubtedly over the 2016 Kingston Town Classic odds at his current quote.

3rd

Perfect Reflection ($4.20)

Perfect Reflection’s form, class and proven ability under the conditions of the Kingston Town Classic suggest that she will be right in the finish of the feature race once more on Saturday. Resuming this time for third in the Group 3 Northerly Stakes (1400m) on October 15th, the More Than Ready mare returned to winning form in the Group 2 Lee Steere Stakes (1400m) before running on for third in the Railway Stakes last time out. Leading WA hoop William Pike will take the ride on Perfect Reflection from barrier 2.
